Part of my job is as a child-protection trainer and I work closely with my local safeguarding children board, developing and delivering training.

The SCR overview report is presented to the local safeguarding children board, which decides what recommendations are to be acted upon and tracked.

There's also an independent overview report author, an independent SCR panel chair and the independent chair of the local safeguarding board needing to be paid.
