In this report, a case of ovarian torsion associated with TAM therapy is described.

Conclusions: Girls seen at pediatric hospitals are more likely to undergo US for work-up of ovarian torsion.

We examined the utilization of CT in girls with ovarian torsion, and determined which patients are most likely to undergo this study.

Antepartum surgery was performed in 17 patients (29%): 13 because of ultrasound findings that suggested malignancy and 4 secondary to ovarian torsion.
