Its bright blue, bell- shaped corolla shone out from amid the dry grass and weeds all along the route.

This unassuming pretty flower has a salver- shaped corolla; but in modelling it, I advise its being formed of five petals.

The whole mass of vegetation is interwoven with innumerable creepers, amid which the flowers of the bignonia, with their open trumpet- shaped corollas, are conspicuous.
