Does she love Tristan before they drink the potion?

There was no way I would be able to drink the potion before she tore me apart.

If they died, or refused to drink the potion, that signified they were under the control of the fairies.

So convinced was she of this, that she offered to let her own child drink the potion out of my cup!

Still she insisted, and adhered to her opinion that if I could drink the potion with impunity, the child could do the same.

We, in a sense, are the ones drinking the potion, feeling this strange, new music taking hold of us.
