There was good to excellent agreement between supine and upright IVC measurements.

In this study we assess whether patient positioning affects IVC diameter metrics.

The modified retroflexed view allows adequate imaging of IVC rim through TEE.

The treatment was aimed at the IVC thrombus, not hepatic vein occlusion.

Conclusion: IVC metrics do not change significantly based on patient position.
