Our zoölogical classifications depend upon anatomical characteristics; and anatomically man belongs among the order primates.

Personally, I do consider higher- order primates to be people.

Man is, at present, classified under the order primates, along with tree shrews, lemurs, lorises, monkeys, and apes.

In fact, no group surpasses them save the Order Primates, and it requires the enrollment of all the apes, baboons and monkeys to accomplish it.
