Banks should repossess more homes where mortgages have not been paid, a financial adviser has said.

Banks are seeking to repossess more than 7,000 homes across the State, according to latest figures from the Courts Service.

By the end of 1932 the Federal Land Bank had repossessed more farms than they knew what to do with.
