We recommend concomitant treatment for bony impingement lesions and preservation of the labrum whenever possible.

Although some correction for malposition was allowable on the opposite side of the joint, extreme degrees could not be corrected because of bony impingement.

Bony impingement occurred in almost half of the cases with posterior dislocation, while implant impingement was associated with anterior dislocation.
