Alligators, buaya (Crocodilus biporcatus of Cuvier), abound in most of the rivers, grow to a large Size, and do much mischief.

It is said to be very harmless; its habits however, as well as its form, much resemble those of the alligator (Crocodilus acutus).

The highest intensity of infection found was 8 in Tylosurus crocodilus.
