The scene reminded me of my former plan to hitchhike west on a mystical quest.

From there on they would work for a couple of weeks, hitchhike west for a while, work another couple of weeks, then hitchhike some more.

I wondered, too, if I was supposed to meditate with this Guru before hitchhiking west.
