Deficit- hit palladium meanwhile hit another record peak on the back of prolonged supply constraints in the market.

Deficit- hit palladium rose 3.9% at $2,738.02 an ounce after having scaled a record high of $2,841.54 earlier.

Elsewhere, deficit- hit palladium fell 0.9% to $2,688.40 an ounce, having touched a record high of $2,841.54 in the previous session.

Among other precious metals, deficit- hit palladium was down 0.2% at $1,671.40 per ounce, having scaled a record peak of $1,700.71 on Monday.

Platinum rose 2.5% to $913.41, after scaling a more-than three-week high earlier, while deficit- hit palladium was down 0.8% at $1,742.01 per ounce.

Among other precious metals, deficit- hit palladium rose 0.2% to $1,736.39 an ounce, hovering near its record high of $1,739.93 hit on Tuesday.
