The primary aims of this study were to determine exosomal contents in exosomes derived from primary amnion epithelial cells (AEC).

Study design: Primary amnion epithelial cells were grown in normal cell culture (control) or exposed to oxidative stress conditions (induced by cigarette smoke extract).

Study design: Primary amnion epithelial cells were cultured from samples that were obtained at prelabor cesarean section (n = 12) and stimulated with IL-1beta.
