Melbourne is on the same cycle, although its average price at peak was higher at 167cpl.

As of Monday morning, the cheapest Melbourne suburb for petrol was Moorabbin Airport, with an average of 89cpl.

The cheapest suburb is now South Lake, with prices as low as 120.8cpl.
